Vegetarianism. Join the Revolution.

I've been a vegetarian for about 3 years. People always ask me why I'm a vegetarian; ask me if it's difficult to be a vegetarian. They act like I'm making this huge sacrifice. But I'm not really. It's more difficult for me to even think about eating meat than not eating it.

I always wanted to make a difference. You know, save the planet kinda shit. I feel bad for the animals, too. Not saying that eating meat is bad, just that if you're going to eat meat, respect the life of that animal. They died so that you could eat. I have respect for all animals, and personally believe we should leave them alone and not eat them. But hey, that's just me.

Christopher Drew Ingle has inspired me all the more to stay vegetarian. I plan on going vegan once I move out of the house thanks to him. Thanks Chris;)

Join the revolution. Make a difference. Become a vegetarian;)

3. do u need to take special vitamins (i heard that before)
4. do u lose a lot of weight when your a vegetarian
5. my family doesnt support this so i need to cook for myself any suggestions
6. are there any kinds of meat supplements?
7. what resteraunts have vegetarian options

thats all sorryy but i need help lol

hey i don't mind answering at all!
1.) i eat EVERYTHING but anything with meat products in it. occasionally I will eat fish because sushi is my weakness;)
2.) well I haven't worried about protein until a month ago. beans are a very good source of protein. there are some protein pills but i haven't taken any. I drink protein shakes occasionally (they're pretty hard to drink. blehhh)
3.) you don't need to take special vitamins, but it's always a good thing;)
4.) hmm..well it's difficult to say. like for the first year, i did drop some weight. but later on, my body stopped losing weight because it was used to my new diet
5.) i am the only vegetarian in my family too so i know where you're coming from. personally, i love instant stuff. MorningStar has GREAT veggie burgers and there's a ton of flavours for you to try. there's all kinds of vegetarian stuff. they have veggie beans too. i don't know any specific recipes in my head but you can find several recipes online
6.) meat supplements? not that I'm sure of. they have vitamin supplements for what you miss out on not eating meat, but not actual meat supplements.
7.) well i've noticed a lot of places that have vegetarian options. but most of the time when i'm out with my family i have to settle with fries or something. but most places have a Garden Burger option. I can't really name specifics because it's different depending on which state you live in. (oh and Burger King has a veggie burger where I live. I'm not sure if your BKs would have any, but it's somehting to look up on

thank you soo much! i want to become a vegetarian but with all the holiday i dont want to like fail so starting the new year im gunna be a vegetarian lol im such a weakling

no problem! and it's okay to mess up. temptation isn't weakness;) i sometimes struggle, but christopher drew ingle inspires me to stay vegetarian, and the animals too!:)

he inspired me to even think of being a vegetarian...ive been trying for the past year and i cant do it i would be able to for like a week and then i wouldnt have any ideas of what else to cook for myself and just give up...but ill get it eventually i just need to keep trying i guess

yeah just keep trying! it's hard the first month or so, but don't be consumed by not eating meat. keep yourself going and look up recipes. there's tons! and MorningStar has some great veggie burgers;)
