Architects mark their return with “Machine”, the first new track from the British band since The Sky, The Earth & All Between, released in 2025. Written by vocalist Sam Carter and drummer Dan Searle, who also produced, the piece signals a fresh step in the group’s sonic evolution!
Both massive and melodic, “Machine” rests on electronic and mechanical textures, synthetic basslines and, above all, a chorus built for arenas. Sam Carter alternates between vulnerable singing and more aggressive outbursts, culminating in a particularly brutal breakdown at the core of the track. With the line “I built myself again” (the words in English), Architects seem to explore personal reconstruction and the search for human connection behind this imposing sonic machinery.
The single is accompanied by a video clip directed by Jensen Noen, who also plays with notions of perception and control. The visual universe shifts gradually from a concrete, tangible reality to an abstract, distorted realm, adopting a science-fiction aesthetic and featuring symbolic imagery that reinforces the song’s message.
Having continuously pushed the boundaries between metalcore, rock and electronic textures, Architects are now gearing up to hit the road again. The band will notably join Korn for a European tour in the autumn, with a Paris stop on October 23, 2026 at the Accor Arena, alongside Korn and Youth Code Forever.
With “Machine,” Architects opens a new chapter while preserving the ability to fuse power, melody and modern atmospheres that now define their identity.
