Following the global success of Rite Here Rite Now in 2024, Ghost is gearing up for a return to the big screen. The band has just unveiled the official trailer for 2 Big To Rig, their new concert film created in collaboration with Trafalgar Releasing!
Shot on 16 mm film during the two sold-out performances at the Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico in September 2025, 2 Big To Rig takes viewers to the heart of the final dates of the first leg of the Skeletour, before an audience of nearly 40,000 fans.
Unlike Rite Here Rite Now, which blended fiction with live performances, this second feature focuses entirely on Ghost’s on-stage experience. The film alternates backstage footage—highlighting the crews who bring the band’s spectacular universe to life each night—and filmed performances by Papa V Perpetua and the Nameless Ghouls. These, moreover, are the only professional images captured throughout the tour, with no phones involved.
The title 2 Big To Rig alludes to the conclusion of the Skeletour in February 2026, after 70 shows across North America, Europe and Mexico. Crafted as a tribute to the fans, the film will also enable regions that didn’t host the production to experience its full scale, not to mention the Mexican audience whose first of three planned dates had to be canceled due to illness.
Presented in IMAX whenever possible, 2 Big To Rig offers a voyage through the band’s six albums, featuring tracks from Skeletá (2025), Ghost’s first album to top the global charts, as well as enduring favorites such as “Mary On A Cross”, “Kiss The Go-Goat” and “The Future Is A Foreign Land”.
2 Big To Rig will be projected in cinemas and IMAX venues worldwide from August 26, 2026, for a limited run. Tickets are already available.
