It took only a few months to turn mystery into a phenomenon. After King Of Terrors (2025), PRESIDENT is already stepping into the arena of a full album with Blood Of Your Empire. Yet behind the masks, the monumental imagery, and the meteoric rise lies something far more intimate: the collapse of a certainty. In ten tracks, the group probes what remains when the faith that once scaffolded an entire life begins to fracture.

When Certainties Become Prisons

“Angel Wings” immediately establishes this tension. The search for protection collides with something much darker: what should save us becomes exactly what we must learn to break free from. Blood Of Your Empire does not merely seek to reject religion; it questions what a human does with the beliefs they receive and the difficulty of distinguishing one’s own truth from that taught to them.

“Dark Heaven” takes this confrontation even further. Faith is no longer an obvious given but something to be deconstructed in order to finally choose what one truly believes. On “Mercy,” the gaze widens: behind the principles meant to guide humanity appear power, violence, and all the contradictions created when some use belief to serve their own interests.

But losing one’s certainties also means facing the emptiness they leave behind. “DOOM LOOP” turns this anxiety into a mental loop, the mind unable to stay in the present as time continues to move forward. If there is no definitive answer about what comes after, perhaps one should start by learning to live in the now.

Rebuilding After the Collapse

That is where Blood Of Your Empire becomes less a trial of faith and more a tale of rebuilding. “Sleepwalker” reveals an identity that seems to dissolve gradually, as if questioning the foundations of one’s existence also forces one to wonder what remains of the self.

“Dionysus” heightens this search, while “This Will Divide Us” reminds us that such a profound reexamination never happens without consequences. Some truths liberate as much as they isolate. And with “Hate Figure,” accompanied by Ando San, anger finally spills out into an external world saturated with judgments, opinions, and imposed perceptions.

When “White Devil” closes the record, no miraculous revelation returns things to order. And perhaps that is where the strength of this debut lies. PRESIDENT does not claim to have found a new truth capable of replacing the old one.

Blood Of Your Empire tells instead of the terrifying moment when one finally agrees to live without absolute answers. Behind its imposing universe, PRESIDENT offers a deeply human album about doubt, fear, and the sometimes painful necessity to destroy the foundations on which we were taught to live in order to discover which ones truly deserve to be rebuilt.
