Fifty years into their career, tens of millions of albums sold, and a place now etched in rock history: Foreigner is set to celebrate its anniversary in style. The band will perform at L’Olympia in Paris on 16 April 2027 for an exceptional unplugged evening designed to bring the experience as close as possible to the audience!
Founded in 1976, Foreigner has established itself over the decades as one of the leading bands in rock and melodic hard rock. From ‘Cold As Ice’ to ‘Juke Box Hero’, via ‘Waiting For A Girl Like You’ and the indispensable ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’, their repertoire has crossed generations without losing its impact. For this Paris date, these classics will be revisited in an acoustic configuration, offering a new reading of songs that have become essential.
This celebration comes as Foreigner can also boast having surpassed 80 million albums sold worldwide and having recently joined the prestigious Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Such milestones testify to the imprint left by the band over five decades of music.
The date is therefore set for April 16, 2027 at L’Olympia. An exclusive presale will be available on GDP.fr starting September 8 at 10:00, ahead of the general ticket sales opening on September 9 at 10:00.
For its 50th anniversary, Foreigner is granting itself a showcase worthy of its history: a legendary Paris venue, an intimate format, and a catalog filled with classics. A rare opportunity to rediscover the band’s anthems in a new light.
