Following “Exit Wound”, Marilyn Manson pushes forward the promotion of One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 by lifting the veil on “Front Toward Enemy”, his second single. The track also comes with the announcement of a new ultra-limited vinyl edition dubbed The Claymore!
The successor to One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1 continues to unfold. A few weeks ahead of the release of One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2, Marilyn Manson presents “Front Toward Enemy”, a track (also the B-side of “Raise The Red Flag” in 2024) that follows the first single already unveiled and maintains the dark, martial atmosphere of this new era.
In parallel with this release, Nuclear Blast puts on sale a new collector’s edition of the album, titled The Claymore. Limited to 1,800 copies worldwide, this edition takes its name from the inscription on the Claymore anti-personnel mines: “Front Toward Enemy” (“Face toward the enemy”), a warning directly adopted for the track’s title and the aesthetic of this variant.
Scheduled for August 14, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 will mark Marilyn Manson’s return to the recording scene with a new batch of unreleased compositions. If the album will be available on that date in its standard formats, collectors who chose the exclusive The Claymore vinyl will have to wait until September 18 to receive this limited edition.
With “Front Toward Enemy”, Marilyn Manson thus continues to fuel the anticipation around his forthcoming album while offering a new collectible piece aimed at the most devoted fans.
